Nanny Job in Naramata, British Columbia

Hi there, we live in the beautiful Okanagan in BC. Our small town is called Naramata and it is a lovely community but if you are a big town girl this will not be for you..... are looking for someone to help us with child minding. Sometimes on the weekends and sometimes after school. We have adult children ranging in age from 20 to 35 years and we have four grand children. About 8 years ago we decided to become foster parents and this journey has been very full filling, although tough at times. We also work outside the home. Because we are foster parents we never know how many children will be in our home although it will not be more than 4 in total. Currently we have two children in our home, a 3 year old boy and a 12 year old girl. They both are lovely children but for sure are not following the "typical development". It will be fair to say that at times things can be stressful so it will be important to have resiliency. We try to keep the kids busy going swimming, hiking, organizing play dates etc. The area we live in is beautiful. There is a ski area close by, there are trails for hiking and biking. Although the kids are in school, we have two lovely Border collies, a rabbit, a cat, fish and a big house with always chores needing to be done. We also do not have any difficulty to "share" you with other families looking for some child minding at times so you can earn some extra dollars (as long as our family has priority :) The nanny needs to be willing to go through a Criminal Record Check and preferably needs a full driving licence.
