Nanny Job in Ottawa, Ontario

Hi there my name is Jackie. Our family: We are a family of five with three children aged 10, 11, 13. My 13 year old daughter has Down Syndrome. What we're looking for: someone comfortable running a home who is independent, resourceful capable and can help manage our busy lives with housekeeping, dinner meals, lunch prep and some laundry. You also are comfortable driving (we can provide car if needed) to after school activities nearby and can help kids with snack and dinner after school on the days we can’t be there. Our children are at the stage where they are needing guidance to independence and we are looking for someone who will espouse our family’s attempts at encouraging and supporting independence. The kids can help you help themselves and are old enough to make many choices for themselves. Job Location: we're located in Old Ottawa South, not far from a bus line. Hours: Wednesday 3-6, Thursday 3-6, Friday 7:30-10:... for a total of 9 hours a week. Start date: As soon as possible but willing to wait for the right fit.
