Child caregiver- Private Home Location: Private Home in Vancouver/ Kerrisdale The house is located across Balaclava Park Salary:TBD Anticipated Start Date:As soon as possible Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-Time or Part Time (Hours can be discussed as boys are already at School Full-time) Employment Conditions: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime *flexible Employer:Private Household in Vancouver, BC Job Requirements Languages: English Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Completion of a training program in Child Care;First Aid Certificate; CPR Certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Children's Ages: 5.5 years (Twin boys)- already in Kindergarten from 9am-3pm Duties: Childcare and supervision; Tend to physical, social and emotional well-being of the twins;School drop off/ pick up/ activity drop off pick up/ Take the kids to activities playdates and appointments; Organize, activities such as games and outings for the kids to provide amusement and exercise; Maintain a safe and healthy environment; Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development; Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents;Prepare kids for bedtime if parents are unavailable; Help children with creative activities including arts, crafts and music.
