Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

Hello. We are a family of three (husband, wife and daughter). Looking for a nanny for our lovely 2 year old daughter. Optional private room included on a live-in basis (not a condition of employment). We live in downtown Vancover - walking distance to anything and very close to the Skytrain station. What we are looking for: - Someone who already lives in Canada. We would be happy to help with transitioning any work permits and act as sponsor if necessary. Unfortunately, we would not be able to wait for someone who lives outside Canada right now. - Excellent with kids. We need someone energetic and outgoing for our daughter. - Patient and nurturing. - Good with cooking and routine household cleaning work. - Someone who can help her continue to develop with learning assignments and interaction - Must be able to meet us locally in Vancouver for an interview - Experience implementing special needs programs and therapy sessions (as our daughter has special intellectual and psychological needs). Duties would include: - Implement therapy sessions and programs, Being actively involved in the development of additional programs. - Assist with social and cognitive development - Caring for child during day; preparing meals and feeding - Oversee our daughter's activities and play - Assist in driving daughter to classes - Assist in swimming lessons - Household duties (cleaning, laundry, errands) Education requirement: Preferably a bachelor's degree. Experience in psychology would be a plus. Experience requirement: At least 1 to 2 years of child care experience. Location: Downtown Vancouver Work Details: Full-time; 40 hours per week.
