Hi Future host family! Im Hazel, a Filipino, i have been in Canada for almost 6 years. I have work as a caregiver for seven years for one family in Palau, they have 3 girls and a boy which are all grown up, and also for 3 Australian boys in the Philippines while processing my papers to Canada. I have been in Canada since January 2016 and have worked as an in home caregiver/childcare to a Canadian family. I have experience in childcare from newborn to 14 years of age. Duties and responsibilities include:(current employer, may change according to families needs) -starts at 7:30 after parents leave for work -assist/help with breakfast -make sure they do their morning chores(when there is time) -help with proper hygiene, make sure they are ready for the bus and gets on time -feed little ones , diaper change , get them ready for the day -initiate activities such as but not limited to : arts and crafts , play-dough, Lego building, reading books, backyard or playground play. Ride bikes or play dodge ball (varies in ages) play games(board games or simple educational games) -prepare snacks , lunch and healthy meals for kiddos. -make sure little ones nap -help them clean up toys /books( they were trained to clean up after themselves) -make sure i maintain a safe and clean environment for the kids I worked fro 7:00-4:30,(duties stops as soon as 1 parent comes home) Nights can be arranged as well if needed.thank you for checking my profile!
