Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Hi! We have a one year old boy with plans to expand the family. We're looking for someone who has 5 years of experience working with infants and toddlers, that's friendly and good-natured, inventive and creative, who is detailed-oriented and thorough with assigned tasks, but takes initiative. Candidates must have excellent English communication skills, First Aid/CPR training, a clear background check, and a strong work ethic. Most importantly, we are seeking someone who will love our son and feel like part of the family. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Creating a nurturing and stimulating environment Meeting child's social, emotional and physical needs Providing age-appropriate activities Dressing child Bathing child Assisting with self-care and hygiene, including diapering Potty training Disciplining child, when necessary and in accordance with our parenting principles Reading to child Keeping child's bedroom and toy room organized and tidy Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for child Preparing nutritious dinner for family Instilling good manners and a sense of responsibility Taking child on age-appropriate outings Candidates must have: Experience caring for infants/toddlers Excellent, verifiable references Dependable, honest and trustworthy Excellent English communication skills Can work independently Knowledge of the community and activities available to young children.
