Nanny Job in Victoria, British Columbia

We are seeking an energetic reliable child caregiver to provide care for our 6-year old son. We are hoping to find someone with some previous experience as a nanny or Au Pair in Canada and we would like to find someone who is high energy and is motivated by the outdoors. Our son is very active but also very courteous and polite. We are always happy to work with students to be able to provide a little extra income while you are studying, pick time for school however is at 2:40pm from the nearby elementary school. We are based in the Cedar Hill / Mt Tolmie Area. We are offering a rate of $15.00 but do find it easier to pay on a semi monthly scheduled (bill us out for total hours on a two weekly schedule). Salary option can also be discussed. Our house is a non-smoking household and there is a dog in the household. Our dog is also very well behaved and a creature for attention (Black Lab). As a condition of employment you will be expected to assist with some of the following activities: * Maintaining a safe and healthy environment * General tidying and cleaning of the day's activities * Organizing activities such as playground trips, winter activities, library time, etc * Preparing healthy and nutritious meals and snacks * Accompanying our child to extracurricular activities such as music lessons, swimming lessons, sports activities * Assist with early childhood development learning; outdoor adventures, assistance with math and writing. Having a valid BC Driver's license and vehicle is a bonus, however if you are familiar with BC Transit we are perfectly fine with public transit.
