Hi, my name's Sara! I am confident that my great amount of prior experience working with children in various capacities makes me an ideal fit for babysitting and nannying jobs. During the 3 years in which I held a position as a counselor at an overnight summer camp, Camp Miriam, I planned and led educational activities and discussions for campers ranging in age from 8 years old to 15 years old. I was also responsible at all times for a group of around 20 campers along with a team of 3 or 4 other staff members. We were responsible for both creating fun and engaging environments for the kids during the day, as well as ensuring that they were well taken care of and supported 24/7. I worked as a junior counsellor at the same summer camp the summer before graduating high school as well. I also was trained in CPR preceding my employment at Camp Miriam. I am currently an undergraduate student at Concordia University pursuing an Honours degree in the Judaic Studies program. I am passionate about education, and I love working with kids. Besides working at summer camp, I've also worked in various babysitting jobs, as well as childminding in community settings, and I've done various types of volunteer work involving youth education.
