Nanny Job in Thornhill, Ontario

Job Description We are a loving family of four (2 children, aged 3 yr and 1 yr) and are looking to hire an experienced part-time caregiver to take care of our 1 year old child during the day, with inclusion of some light household duties. I work flexible scheduled hours so will be home part of the time. Responsibilities: We will be looking for the individual to help out with 3 main responsibilities in order of priority: 1. Child minding for 1 year old child: - Preparing and Feeding meals and snacks - Diaper changing - Interactive play, indoor and outdoors - Putting down for nap - Child has multiple food allergies so attention to food handling for child is important 2. Cooking/Food preparation - Light dinner prep with special attention to food allergies 3. Light Household duties - Washing dishes, as needed - Tidying around the home, keeping clear of clutter Requirements: 1. Able to work 2 days a week: Thursday and Fridays or Wednesday and Friday, 7 hours each day (10am-5pm) 2. Criminal Record Check 3. References from past or current employers 4. At least 2 years of previous child minding experience with infants and children required 5. Able to drive or arrange own transportation to our home in Thornhill Woods area (Bathurst and Hwy 7). 6. Language: proficient in English 7. Has knowledge of Infant/Child CPR and First Aid (preferable) 8. Technology savvy and has access to mobile phone to communicate (text message/imessage) Qualities 1.
