Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are a fun-loving family living in the Harbord Village area with one baby who will be 11 months old when we will be requiring a nanny. We would love to find an energetic, responsible, and caring nanny who is looking for a long-term opportunity with our family. We would greatly value someone with 4 years of experience as a nanny, who can teach us a few parenting tricks along the way. Ideally, candidates will bring great energy and ideas to engage and entertain our baby through her toddler years, in a way that will help her reach milestones and find joy in every day. Job Details: - Full-time, live-out position starting April 1 (flexibility to start /- 1 week) - Monday - Friday 8am-6pm, with some occasional flexibility (for overtime pay) - Pay and vacation time negotiable, plus overtime Responsibilities: - Playing with baby - Taking baby for walks and out to activities (music class etc.) - Putting baby down for naps - Changing diapers and clothing - Preparing and feeding infant meals plus snacks - Light housekeeping - Laundry - Occasional errands (e.g. grocery shopping) Qualities/characteristics we are looking for in nanny: - 4 years experience as a nanny (or equivalent/similar experience) - Love for caring for and engaging with children - CPR and first aid certification - Organizational skills - Driver's lisence would be an asset - Non-smoker - Eligible to work in Canada
