Nanny Job in Brooklin, Ontario

Looking for an enthusiastic, child friendly, mother's helper/nanny for a newborn baby girl & 3.5 year old son. Looking for full-time day-time availability commencing in July for our son, to transition him to a nanny. I am expecting a baby girl the first week of August & will be having a c-section, so I am looking for assistance with all care with the newborn for at least 4-6 weeks while I recover from surgery, as well as someone who can either provide assistance with caring for my son or be able to drive him to his current daycare. I am looking for someone who is available for over the summer months & or beyond. Hours would be flexible, however, something along the hours of 8-4 or 9-5. Occasional weekday evening or weekend evening would be an asset, however, not necessary. Not looking for anyone to clean the house as we have a service, however, someone who is neat & tidy is a must. Occasional assistance with meal prep for supper time would be an asset. I would be comfortable with someone who has a nursing background with the baby or someone with experience with infants. In terms of meeting my son's needs, he is very energetic, loves life in high speed & would rather be outside than anywhere else, riding his bike or pedal car. We would want someone who is comfortable taking him to the park 1 block away & okay with running after him when he doesn't listen & runs off. We hope that he will be potty training by July, however, this may be a work in progress, so someone who is comfortable with encouraging potty, handing out rewards & occasional diaper changes when needed. We have a backyard swimming pool, so someone who has swimming or life guarding qualifications would be an asset. Being able to use all of our latches & extra locking mechanisms on our exterior doors is a must. Must have CPR & First Aid, as well as a current Vulnerable Sector Check/Criminal Reference Check. Would prefer someone within the Brooklin area or Whitby at the outer parameters. We also have a mini Schnauzer, he's 9 years old & settled, but a bit of a barker. Must be comfortable with & kind to animals.
