Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

I am writing to express my interest in the position of being a Nanny. my name is Jessica Hardy. I am 29 years old. I currently live in New Brunswick but I am wanting to relocate to Ontario. I adore children and have been watching them since I was 13 years old. I have always loved children and find nothing more rewarding than caring for them. A few years ago I wanted to adopt children of my own but I was living in the states and it was not permitted as I was not a citizen of the United States. But completed the home study and house inspections. I have returned from the united states where I was a cosmetologist for 7 years in May of 2013. I currently work as a supervisor for a call centre but this is not something I want to stay in long term. It is not stated in my resume, but my child caring skills have been through years of caring for both immediate and extended family. I have two younger siblings who I have always cared and cooked for, and have minded for many young nieces and nephews, including infants as well as voluntary for my church. Most of my experiences are with children under the age of 14 years old. The duties I have fulfilled are: driving them around to their after school activities, prepared meals, cleaned the house, helped with homework, laundry and helped with outings. Since I have my cosmetology license I can also keep up with the families grooming needs. (which is not common) I also have taught children in Sunday school from the ages of 5 to 12 years of age. I also helped out within the church nursery. I would truly love this position and would love this as a long term position. I would be able to get my first aid and cpr course if needed. I do have a drivers license, just would be new to the area and will need to get use to the area. I would love to speak with you personally about your family’s needs.
