Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

I'm looking for a nanny position to compliment my University schedule as I complete my second degree. My availability is primarily Fridays-Sundays with the occasional weekday morning/evening. I have extensive experience working with children and individuals with disabilities. I have CPR, First Aid, and a criminal record check. I will prepare meals for the children and clean up after playtime or any mess we create, but I am NOT looking for a position that includes household chores or family meal preparation. I want a position where I can plan and enjoy activities with the children including crafts, reading, singing, dancing, games, swimming, zoo trips, park play, and having fun! I'm very clear with my expectations regarding the ideal position and I respect and welcome parents honesty regarding their required needs as well. My wage expectations are $18-$20/hour depending on the situation. I fully understand that finding a nanny can be stressful as your children are the most precious little people in your life and trusting someone else to care for them is hard. This is why I like to get to know the families I nanny for and become apart of their extended family whereby they can feel secure and content knowing that their children are being cared for by a competent, reliable, and compassionate nanny. I live in the SW area of the city and drive my own vehicle, preference will be given to families that live in my area.
