Nanny in Sherwood Park, Alberta

Hi my name's Claire and I am 23 years old. Currently, I am a full time university student at Concordia taking the Bachelor of Management program with a minor of education. In addition, I completed hair school in Vancouver at John Casablancas Institute in 2019. I have experience working as a nanny for a family with three children ages 10, 7, and 5, three children ages 8, 7, 4 and four children ages 11, 8, 8 and 6. In addition, I also have also worked with a special needs child over the past six years. Some of my duties include taking her to medical appointments, accompanying her to sport activities, coordinating daily meals, and other activities such as arts and crafts and basic life skills such as cooking. I have also volunteered with the youth special needs program for Sherwood Park Ball Hockey and worked as an instructor/coach for ringette in Sherwood Park. Some of my interests include playing ringette (16 years) and ball hockey (13 years). I also love animals (I have two dogs - a westie who is 13 and a goldendoodle who is 8 months). In addition, I enjoy sports, I love to spend time watching Oiler and Raptor games with my family. I completed the babysitting program (2012) where I learned basic red cross training. In addition, I have completed my level one Early Childhood and Development certificate (2021) and Gateway Association's Abuse Prevention and Protocol certificate (2021). Additionally, I can provide a criminal record check. I also have my license and a vehicle. Currently, I am looking for a part-time nanny position starting in September 2023.
