Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

I am looking for an energetic and organized nanny to help look after my two 5 ½ year old twin boys during our transition from daycare to kindergarten in September. Responsibilities include: 1. Taking care of the children and all aspects of their safety while following the daily schedule that is laid out for them. 2. Drop off and pick up from school. (when kindergarten begins mid September) 3. Preparing snacks and school lunches in advance. 4. Ensuring school uniforms are clean, ironed and ready for the next day. 5. Doing boy's laundry and bedding. 6. Taking boys to after school activities. 7. Organizing and monitoring indoor activities such as reading, active play, puzzles and play 8. Light housework (tidying kitchen after lunch, sweeping, putting away toys, etc. Qualifications include: • Minimum 1-3 years nanny or child care experience, ECE is an asset • Experience with special needs or autism is an asset (one of our twins is ASD) • First Aid and CPR Designation is preferred • Drivers license is preferred • Criminal record check will be required • Students are welcome • Must be comfortable with dogs • Must possess drivers license that can transport 2 children under 18 - car preferred but not required This will begin as a 40hr/week role during the month of September with working hours ranging from 7:30AM-630PM M-F. These hours will decrease to approximately 20hr/ week when school begins in mid-September, hours ranging from 1:30PM-6:30PM M-F. We are located in the Kerrisdale area and have great access to playgrounds and community centres. Start date would be September 1st. Looking forward to hearing from you!
