Nanny in Edmonton, Alberta

I am currently looking for full time work starting in October 2021. I currently live in Whitecourt AB and would be relocating to Edmonton for the right position. Live in would suit my needs but live out could also possibly work. About me: I am a passionate, sensitive, flexible, and fun-loving 23-year-old. Since 2016, I have gained extensive experience in the childcare field in multiple settings. I have a love for helping children grow and develop the skills they need to thrive throughout childhood. I absolutely love anything artsy such as, painting, drawing, colouring, crafting, and diy projects. I also love the outdoors and anything that lets us experience mother nature in all its glory. Since I started working closely with families and children I have developed a stronger appreciation for the importance of a healthy and fullfilling childhood, especially when it comes to guiding children's behaviour and helping them to make healthy choices in a way that is dignified and respectful for everyone involved! Credentials: - I have completed my Childcare Level 1 through Basecorp Learning. - I have completed my First Aid and CPR through the National CPR Foundation. * I am able to acquire a criminal record check upon request * Experience: - I have worked in an early learning facility with children aged 15 months to 5 years of age. - I worked in two different out of school care facilities with children aged 5-12. My duties included helping facilitate the use of routines, active and outdoor play, fine motor skill development as well as facilitating healthy relationships among children. I was also responsible for the one-on-one care of an 11 year old girl with special needs who is completely nonverbal as well. - I worked in a ski hill daycare in Panorama BC. with children aged 18 months - 5 years. - I have worked as a live in nanny for a family with three children aged 2, 4, and 6. (two dogs as well). - I have worked as a live out nanny for a family with two children aged 9, and 11. - I have been a camp counsellor for a summer sports camp with kids aged 3-13. - I have led day camps and drop in summer time activities (hikes, tie dye, fairy house building, group campfire) at a mountain biking resort with children aged 2-15.
