Nanny Job in Edmonton, Alberta

My name is Shari and I'm a registered nurse who works shift work, a mix of days, evenings, and weekends. I have two boys aged 6 and 4 who I need part time to full time care for. My six year old is in school full days Monday to Friday and my 4 year old has preschool for 2 hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons. Some days I would need someone who can get my 6 yr old up and off to school in the morning and pick him up as when I work day shifts I leave at 7am and return at roughly 4pm. When I work day shift my 4 year old also would need to be taken to preschool those 3 afternoons (M,W,F) from 12:45pm to 2:45 pm. Sometimes pick up for my older son can be hectic on those days as there isn't much time to get from preschool to school to pick my 6 yr old up at 3pm. When I work evening shifts I would need someone to pick the boys (depending on the day of the week for the 4 yr old) up from school and do their evening routine. This includes some homework for the 6 yr old which is home reading and practicing spelling words (he's very bright and this takes little time). Then really I just let them have play time until it's time to have supper. Then I would need someone to prepare and feed them supper, get them bathed and then get them to bed. We have a very specific bedtime routine that we do not deviate from, but it is easy and consists of them having a bedtime snack while they watch a 20-30 min cartoon and then brush teeth and then have a bedtime story in their bed. When I work an evening shift I leave the house at 3pm and return roughly at midnight. I do not usually work more than 4 shifts in a row but they can be a mix of days and evenings within that 4 days and sometimes I have 1 day off and then sometimes I have several days off. I book my own shifts so if you had an occasional appointment or commitment and gave me enough notice I would be able to adjust my schedule. I'm only interested in having a female care for my boys and I need someone who has their own car and drives although both their school and preschool are very close to our house but not within walking distance. I want someone who is fun loving and likes to play and imagine. I also need someone who is firm and consistent. I'm would like someone who is comfortable doing light housework which includes picking up after the kids and cleaning up after meals. I have never had a nanny before and therefore I'm not sure as to what other help I may need with household chores but I'm flexible and willing to discuss things as they come up. I mostly just want someone who is going to take great care of my boys.
