Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We're looking for a full-time housekeeper and nanny to help us run our busy household and care for our cheerful and energetic16 month old son. Working hours are 10-5 Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate will be positive, energetic, loving and responsible. Being musical is a plus. Your responsibilities will comprise of 50% or more housekeeping and 50% or less childcare.

Experience with toddlers and young children is required, an educational background in a similar field/ECE certification is an asset.

Duties include:

-Housekeeping including tidying up and cleaning, doing the family’s laundry in the morning

-Feeding, changing and caring for our son between the hours of 12-4

-Taking our son to the park, accompanying him to play dates and children’s programs (currently only held outdoors)

-Cooking family meals in the evening

-Other housekeeping duties such as organizing children’s clothes and toys, cleaning children’s equipment and toys, putting away groceries etc.

-Running occasional errands within walking distance

Please note that our house has multiple floors; you must be comfortable carrying a toddler up and down the stairs to different rooms.

Starting date: immediately
Salary: $18-20/hr based on experience and qualifications
