Nanny Job in Bradford West Gwillimbury, Ontario

I grew up with a nanny who was always and continues to be considered a family member and so we are truly looking for someone to come and join our family. We are looking for a full-time, live-out nanny to care for our soon-to-be 1-year-old son. We live in Bradford and are looking for someone to start the second week of February 2018. We need someone who can be here from 7:30am-5:30pm. If there is availability to start or end any earlier/later or flexibility to do so on occasion that would be ideal. Both my husband and I work in Toronto and so we are mindful that the commute can be tricky at times. We are looking for: - Someone who is gentle, engaging, energetic and reliable. - Someone who can drive and who, ideally, has their own car. - Clear criminal background - 2 recent childcare references that can be verified - ECE would be considered an asset but not required. What we need help with: First and foremost we need someone who is going to care for our son. We'd like someone who will keep him learning, active and engaged. Aside from the responsibilities associated with our son, we'd love it if the house could be kept somewhat tidy and if we could have some assistance with dinner. We don't care if it's a peanut butter sandwich or pre-made chili (that we've made on the weekend) heated but we'd love to be able to spend as much time with our son as possible when we get home and so we're trying to avoid having to start dinner. Any other help above and beyond that is not required but welcomed (i.e. groceries, our son's laundry, tidying).
