Loida has been our nanny for the past 6 years and has been a godsend! She's honestly my kids' 2nd mom. She's so loving and wonderful with all of us...she's really part of our family. As for her nanny skills, she's the best...she's kept our house lovely & clean & organized (she even sweeps out the garage and cleans up the garden!). Loida is an amazing cook and some of our favourite dishes are: Indian curried chicken & basmati rice, spicy Szechuan minced pork & eggplant, chicken wings & roasted brussel sprouts plus all of her fresh healthy salads. She learned to drive while with us and is a confident driver now. She's always willing to help out and goes the extra mile every day whether it's ironing the clothes or mowing the lawn or shoveling the driveway. She's been teaching my kids to become more independent (aged 12 and 9 now) and they are now doing their own laundry and preparing lunches for school under her supervision. I wish we could have kept Loida forever as our live-in nanny but my husband's company went under recently and it's not financially practical under our new circumstances. Loida's next employer will be the luckiest family ever!
