Nanny Job in Whistler, British Columbia

We are a kind and welcoming family of 5, with three boys aged 2, 4 and 6. We moved to Whistler recently and are looking for an enthusiastic, responsible and loving person to join us 2-3 days per week either live-out or live-in (in our nice basement suite). Mum works 2 days/week and Dad works 4-5 days per week so we need 2-3 days of childcare help. Mum and Dad take sole charge on the weekends. Responsibilities would include: 2-3 days per week looking after our 3 boys: 1. Helping our 4 and 6 yr old to get ready for school and dropping them off either by bike burley or our car. 2. Caring for our two year old son, including any activities you think he would enjoy outdoors or indoors 3. Picking up the two elder boys after school and sole charge of them after school until 7pm 4. Encouraging the kids in outdoor activities and creative indoor play, engaging them with helping around the house, helping to raise them to be wonderful people. (Knowledge of Waldorf schooling would be a bonus as the boys are at WWS!) 4. Making a family meal and tidying up 5. Light housekeeping: tidying, kids’ laundry etc Requirements: 1. Someone who will be here long term to avoid the kids having too much change in their lives: Canadian Citizen, permanent resident or planning to remain in Canada for the long term. We have had fantastic relationships with our nannies back in London and we hope for the same with our new nanny. We will treat you with respect and affection, like a member of our own family.
