Nanny Job in Milton, Ontario

We are a professional couple looking for a nanny to care for our two young children - a three-year-old girl and a one year old boy. Our three-year-old daughter will be starting JK in the fall of 2017 (pick and drop off to school will be required). You must love children and be mature, reliable, trustworthy, punctual and well presented (a couple of years’ experience would be appreciated). You will be required to work weekdays from 8:30am – 4:30pm, with occasional evenings/weekends for which you will be paid overtime. We are a non-smoking household and would prefer a non-smoker. We are also strict Vegetarians (no fish, no eggs) and we would like this to be respected. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing meals and snacks for both children Putting the toddler down for naps Changing diapers and clothing, as well as washing and drying clothes as required Bathing the children Playing with the kids and taking them for walks in the stroller and parks (if weather permits) Reading to the toddler (i.e. creative activities) Some cleaning and general housekeeping You will need a current First Aid certificate, police check certificate and a current driver’s license. A Certificate in Child Care will also be highly regarded. In return, you will be well treated and will receive a good wage and meals, have full use of the house, and be treated as one of the family.
