Nanny Job in Burlington, Ontario

Looking for: Nanny/Full Time In-Home Child Care This is a nanny share between two families located in the same neighbourhood, providing care primarily for two 1yr old boys. Details: Family 1: Two boys ages 1 year and 4 years (after-school care only for 4 year old) Family 2: One boy aged 1 year and one girl aged 4 years (occasional after-school only for 4 year old girl) Monday to Friday, full-day care required for two male infants (1 year old), and after-school care for 4 year old boy and occasionally 4 year old girl. Care will alternate between each family’s home Example: Week 1: MWF House 1, TTH, House 2 Week 2: MWF House 2, TTH, House 1 Responsibilities: Meal preparation Light household duties Walk with children outside, to the park, etc. Pick up child from bus after school and walk home Schedule of daily activities (I.e. singing songs, playing with toys, arts and crafts, reading, outside play) Requirements: Criminal record check First Aid/CPR Own vehicle/transportation and G drivers’ license or public transit (to get to work only. You will NOT be required to drive children anywhere) Two professional references (including at least one child care reference) and one personal reference (I.e. school professor, pastor, former employer, someone who has known you for at least five years) Experience as a nanny, working with children, day care, or babysitting Legally allowed to work in Canada (we are not currently looking to sponsor an overseas caregiver) Comfortable around dogs (no animal care required but one home has an older dog) Live out position Compensation to be discussed.
