Nanny in Victoria, British Columbia

Hi families of Victoria! My name is Ella and I’m looking for a summer childcare/nanny job (July-August) I am a patient and playful person who loves being in nature, and getting creative with kids. I have many years of experience working with kids of all ages and abilities, including: - 2 years of experience as an Education Assistant with the Victoria School District -3 summer/spring break camps -2 years of after school care -3 years of youth support work -Many many years of casual babysitting A bit about me: -I love exploring beaches and forests, arts and crafts, swimming, cycling and cooking/baking. -I have a car and a bicycle -I am heading back to school to complete the 1.5 year post-degree teaching program this coming September to be able to teach elementary school -I have Positive Behaviour Support training , Crisis Intervention training and First Aid CPR-C training which have helped me so much with providing inclusive and supportive care for children and youth. I’m big on: -Social & emotional learning -Activities that support mindfulness -Creative, play based learning -Nature education I’m looking to find a family to work with that share my values of community, authenticity and kindness.
