Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

We are looking for a part-time nanny to help with our 2.5yo twin girls until they start preschool on December 3rd this year. This is a 5 month position starting July 4th to November 7th this year, working 1 day per week, possibly 2. We are a grounded, fun loving couple who love the outdoors. Mum is from Australia and Dad is from Ontario. We are located in East Vancouver, close to Trout Lake. We’re looking for an experienced, caring and fun nanny who can work 1 day per week to replace our existing nanny who is leaving to move home. The time window would be 8:00am-6:00pm Wednesdays and maybe some Fridays if convenient for you. Mum works from home so would be in her office while you work. Our girls are happy, healthy and full of life. Their usual schedule involves spending some mornings at Strong Start, playing in the nearby parks and going to the library and play gyms in the area. Our nanny needs to be comfortable with dogs and willing to take him along on walks with the girls. Our 75lb Weimaraner has a very laid back temperament and is easy to care for (and love!). He really adores the girls and enjoys the role of big brother. Your responsibilities would involve light house cleaning including laundry, taking the girls to various activities (using our vehicle to drive them when needed) and parks in the area, very simple meal prep and taking the dog along when out walking with the girls. We would love someone who can really engage and have fun with the girls, create games and activities for them, but also teach them how to behave and use their manners!
