Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

Executive semi-formal style residence requires a professional full-time Nanny/Housekeeper. This is a live-out position, schedule being Monday to Friday 9:30 - 5:30pm. For the right candidate, we can arrange a daily pick-up and drop off at the Somerset train station in Bridlewood. Such an arrangement would require flexibility with your schedule to coincide with the family trip into town in the afternoons/evenings. Some nights will be longer and other days may be shorter depending on schedules so flexibility around daily schedules is absolutely critical. Ideally, we would prefer a live-in arrangement but we simply do not have any spare rooms currently. Some minimal supervision on school holidays is required for our independent daughters ages 11 and 13. Time will be paid hourly and will begin upon arrival at the home and end with your departure from the home. Applicants should have previous experience working in a private residence, excellent housekeeping and laundry skills with strong time management required to maintain the high standards of residence and exercise confidentiality and discretion at all times. The residence is situated on a large acreage 15 minutes south of Bridlewood so a reliable vehicle capable of winter driving is preferred but not required. Ability to travel with the family to BC in the summer for a number of weeks to maintain a summer residence is preferred. A uniform is also required and will be provided by the employer. Salary: Transportation in own reliable vehicle: $30.00/hr. Regular daily pick-up and drop-off $22.00/hr.
