Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

The nanny will usually work from 2pm-8pm, 5 days per week. The position is live-out with accessible public transportation and cost of transportation provided. Work location is in midtown Toronto. Newcomers to Canada are welcome to apply (OHIP equivalent benefits offered if needed). Flexibility with hours is required for additional work on Saturdays sometimes. During some school holidays, the nanny may be asked to work different hours, such as from 9-5 Monday to Friday. The responsibilities include child care, preparing healthy snacks for children, helping to prepare lunches for school and some household duties. Household duties mainly include tidying and home organization relating to child care activities. The nanny will pick up children from school sometimes. The nanny will engage in arts and crafts and other educational activities with the children and help with bedtime routines. The nanny should have a high school diploma. Any additional college or university training is an asset. The position is long-term temporary for 24 to approximately 36 months.
