Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We require a responsible individual to serve as a loving, nurturing and trustworthy companion to our two children. Family will employ the nanny on a full-time, live-out basis. Hours: Monday to Friday 730am – 530pm. Flexibility beyond these hours required. Occasional overnight care may also be required **Role responsibilities: • Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the children • Supervise the children’s activities at all times • Prepare meal and feed the children • Dress the children • Place the children down for naps and bedtime • Change diapers / help children with bathroom • Perform housework related to child care, including washing the children’s clothes, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, and washing bottles • Teach the children good social manners • Play with the children, both indoors and outdoors • Plan and lead educational activities, including reading, with the children • Drop off and pick up at school for 3 year old (morning classes, 15-20 minute walk away) • Discipline the children, when necessary **Qualifications and Requirements • English proficiency • High school graduate • Experience caring for children • Some Canadian work experience preferred • Training in early childhood education preferred • First aid training and child and infant CPR • Authorization to work in Canada • Reliable, honest, and trustworthy • Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision • Criminal record check required **Please include a resume and short cover letter in your application.
