Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

We\'re looking for an active and loving nanny to care for our 1 and 3 year old boys. The boys are a bundle of energy and love to go on adventures outside (in all weather). This full-time (40-50 hrs/week), long-term position starts as soon as possible and in based in the Coventry Hills area of Calgary, AB In addition to caring for the boys some light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation would be required. Summary of Responsibilities: * Supervise and care for children * Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents * Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home * Tend to emotional well-being of children * Bathe, dress and feed infants and children * Prepare infants and children for rest periods * Prepare and serve nutritious meals * Change diapers for infants and assist preschooler with toileting * Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development * Organize indoor and outdoor activities for the children * Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them * Read to children * Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents * Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children * Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens * Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties * Other duties as appropriate. Credentials: * First Aid Certificate * CPR Languages: * English Education: * Minimum Completion of high school Experience: * 6 months to 1 year previous experience as a caregiver.
