Nanny Job in Thornhill, Ontario

Busy Vaughan based dual-career couple seeks a live-in/live-out nanny to provide full-time childcare for their nine-month-old daughter. The nanny will serve as a loving, nurturing and trustworthy companion to child. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES • Live-In or Live-Out, willing to sponsor under Caregiver Program • Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the child • Supervise the child’s activities at all times, both indoors and outdoors • Plan and prepare meals and bottles for, and feed, the child • Dress/ Bathe the child • Place the child down for naps • Change diapers • Perform housework related to child care, including washing the child’s clothes, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, and washing bottles • Teach the child good social manners • Venture to local community center with the child for special activities • Light housework such as cleaning the house/cooking dinner= REQUIRED DAYS & HOURS • Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to approximately 6:00 pm. JOB QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS • Minimum 3 years of experience caring for child (specifically infants) • Training in early childhood education preferred • First aid training and child and infant CPR • English proficiency • Reliable, honest, and trustworthy • Physical ability to care for a young child • Ability to plan, organize, and multitask with minimal supervision • Non-smoker
