Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Live-in nanny required for full-time position in Etobicoke. Nanny will be taking care of two boys, ages 4 and 7 years. Current live-in Nanny going on Maternity Leave on March 31st, 2013 and not planning on coming back after her mat leave is completed. The number of work hours required Monday-Friday is 1 hour in the morning and 6 in the afternoon. 5 hours of work on Saturday morning for a total of 40 hours weekly. Boys go to school/daycare over the week. Responsibilities with the children include: Help getting the kids ready for daycare/school, feed/give them a bath, taking children to the park, reading to children, playing with children in home. Occasionally, it will be required to walk children to and from school. Other duties include house cleaning, meal preparation (Breakfast and Dinner), and laundry. Nanny alternates care every other week between Dad's and Mom's houses. Nanny will have a private full bedroom and bathroom in each house. Nanny will be always accompanying the kids as parents split 50/50 custody. TTC pass will be subsidized. Nanny is required to have at least 3 years of experience, fluent english as well as CPR and First Aid. Dynamic, caring, empathetic and proactive personality is required. The wage is $10.77 per hour, 40 hours weekly with 2 weeks paid vacation. Standard taxes and room and board deductions will apply. Preference will be given to caregiver already legally working in Ontario. Valid Driver license holder is a plus. Non-Smoker please.
