Nanny Job in Stouffville, Ontario

We\'re looking for a live-in care-giver (willing to sponsor through Live-in Caregiver Program) to care for our son (2.5 years) and daughter (9 months). We live in Stouffville, which is about 40 minutes North-East of Toronto. The position starts in October when my husband goes back to work and we would require a caregiver for 40 hours of work. The position will be in our home and we require a criminal record check before you start and fist aid & CPR if you don\'t already have them. Responsibilities include: Supervise and care for children; Bathe, dress and feed children; Prepare children for rest periods; Organize, activities such as games and outings for children; Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them; Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development; Read to children; Prepare and serve nutritious meals; Prepare formula and change diapers for children and assist with potty training; Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens; Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents; Observe children and prepare reports for parents; Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; Tend to emotional well-being of children; Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents; Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children; Must be able to swim, as we have a fenced off pool, but the skill is needed in case of an emergency. Most importantly we want someone to become part of our family. we live very close to city transit and minutes from GO transit.
