Nanny Job in Kelowna, British Columbia

My family and I are looking for a calm, patient, nurturing individual to care for our three young girls starting in September 2017 and hopefully carrying on until at least the fall of 2018. We live in Coldstream ( suburb of Vernon ) and hoping someone will not mind the 30 minute commute from Kelowna. The hours will be Mon,Tues, Wed, and most Thursday's and a few Saturdays ( not likely full days). The days will be approximately 9-9.5 hours during the work week. A MUST for this position is the ability to stay late on those days (possibly a couple hours) if needed due to the nature of our careers. We are looking for this flexibility. Along with this we are also seeking an individual that would not mind extra babysitting at night or picking up an extra shift if it works out ( e.g.. Friday shift). This position will take a special person that can multi-task since my children are very busy and ages 6 ( 7 in August), 3 (4 in June), and 6 months. In the fall our eldest will be in school and my middle will be in preschool half a day on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Common sense to us is key. We expect someone that is able to be tidy and organized ( using common sense) and clean up after/with the children throughout the day as well as light housekeeping if there is time (e.g. put away laundry, make beds, put away toys, clean kitchen etc). Dinner prep or possibly making dinner on some nights will be needed depending on how the day goes. We do not expect our house to be pristine but we do expect someone to take the time to clean up the messes that may occur during the day in order to keep our household from not being a disaster. We realize that three children will be a lot of work so someone with energy and the ability to "tidy on the go" will be successful. Having said that, most days only two children ( and sometimes one) will be needing care. Another key to this job is having the ability to transport the children in your vehicle. Getting them out of the house daily. Whether it be to the park, strong start, swimming etc or just fun little adventures this is a must. It will have to be worked around a nap schedule for the youngest. Thus, this individual must be well organized and possibly plan the days ahead of time. Transporting to preschool, school, and activities will be required. While in the house our children are very hands-on so baking, crafts, make believe play, gardening etc are also wonderful. All the while the the baby will be in tow-this is why multi-tasking is so important to us We are looking for someone that can have lots of fun with the girls and get down to their level but be able to be their caregiver and role model. To provide guidance and rules while being patient and nurturing . Extra night time caregiving and possibly occasional overnight care is also something we are seeking if possible Please contact us ASAP if interested. I would like training to start if possible in May
