Nanny Job in Boyle, Alberta

Live in or out Nanny/housekeeper required for full-time position in Boyle, Alberta. Primary responsibility will be taking care of an 11 year old high functioning autistic boy. Your responsibilities with him include: walking Luke to school and picking him up, taking him for walks, to the playground and other recreational activities, reading to him, etc. Other duties include occasional overnight respite, light cleaning, and some meals. Nanny is required to have prior experience with children. Experience with special needs is highly desired, as well as a drivers license, but not required. Attributes such as patience, reliability, caring, a sense of humour, and willingness to learn new things are a plus. Salary is $15.00 per hour for 40 hours a week, with possibility of extra paid hours. Hours are flexible, but generally Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm, with occasional weekend or evenings agreed on in advance. For live in $336/month will be deducted for room and board (excellent accommodation available) High functioning and verbal 11 year old boy with good self care skills but requiring a lot of attention.
