Nanny Job in Kanata, Ontario

We are looking for a loving, experienced, fun and energetic full-time live out OR live in nanny to join our family and help take care of our wonderful two children, aged 4 and 2. Candidate should have previous experience with babies and children. Please note it is very important that a potential nanny have access to a vehicle or a reliable form of transportation to and from our home if they live-out (bus route #96 with approx 10 min walk from Hazeldean Road or bus route #261). We are looking for a full time nanny with experience. Duties would include: - love and care of 2 year old son and 4 year old daughter; -assisting with morning routine (breakfast, clean up, bringing our daughter to school bus etc) -full day care for 2 year old son, pick up daughter from school bus at 3PM and provide after school snack and care; - Day to day fun ( arts and crafts activities, trips to the nearby park, occasional outings/ field trips such as a nearby play group) ; - meal (breakfast & lunch) preparation and clean up for children; -light dinner preparation for family ; -household tidying and chores including daily clean up of main floor and basement play room, loading dishwasher, laundry etc. Requirements: - Must be over 19 years of age - Minimum 2 years of prior child care experience (references required) -Must be comfortable with dogs (family friendly labrador) - Experience with babies/small children under 2 years of age - English Speaking - Valid Canadian Driver's License (*ideal but not necessary) - Recent Police/ Criminal Record Check - First Aid Training - Ideally possesses a Degree or Diploma in child care/ child education Please contact us with your experience and references if you think you would be a great fit for our family!
