Nanny Job in Vaughan, Ontario

We are looking for a full time, live-in babysitter/housekeeper in King City (near GO train). Our primary concern is to ensure the health, safety, happiness, and well-being of our 6-year-old daughter and 2 gentle dogs. Our daughter attends full day school. You would also be responsible for light housekeeping in order to maintain a clean and tidy house and to prepare meals (specifically dinner) for the family. Childcare – Occasional pick-up/drop-off at school, (valid driver’s license required – shared vehicle can be provided), as well as wake-up routine, after school care/play, meal and snack preparation. Pet Care – feed and walk dogs as required. Household – meal prep, kitchen cleaning, dishwasher, laundry, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, surface cleaning, garbage/recycling preparation. On most weeks, the day begins at 7:30 with wake-up routine and then school. The day ends after we all have dinner together and wash up. Daytime hours are flexible. Mostly Monday to Friday. However both parents are required to travel for work, so there would be some weeks where fulltime (overnight) responsibility would be needed. So flexibility is essential. We were fortunate to have a housekeeper for 3 years who became like a family member, unfortunately she needs to move to another city for personal reasons. We would like to find someone new who is loving and fun to join our family.
