Nanny Job in Grande Prairie, Alberta

Hello, My wife and I are interested in finding child care in Grande Prairie. We are both RCMP in Grande Prairie and will be working a 4 on 4 off rotation, overlapping each other. Currently, we are looking for someone to come to our house and watch our 2 boys, aged 3 and 5 years old, while we are at work. Our schedule is fairly set in stone and will not change without plenty of notice. We are looking for someone to watch our children while we are at work and after we work nights as we will be at the house, but sleeping. In addition, we are required to work weekends and holidays, so you would have to be ok working any day/time of the week. Our main focus is the kids and their care-we need someone to prepare their meals and play, go for walks, go to the park (in our back yard) read books, etc. We do have a dog- a golden retriever, so you would need to be ok with having her around. Possibly responsible for feeding her and definitely letting her in and out as needed throughout the day. (Being willing to take her for walks when you’re out would be a bonus). I will require my Nanny to have their own reliable transportation. Our shift is very unpredictable as we may be required to stay late, or get called in early. We do have a guest room in the basement with an ensuite for your convenience. We are new to the area, so it will be a work in progress to see when you are needed most. Thanks again. Lindsay and Scott
