Nanny Job in Burlington, Ontario

Hi, my name is Midori. I am a new mother looking for occasional or part time babysitting/nannying. We have one daughter 11 months old. Looking for a compassionate individual to take care of her, help her learn, stimulate her and have fun during awake times. I like someone who is a problem solver and who takes initiative, especially when it comes to seeing things that need to be tidied or done in the kitchen or laundry room or nursery when she is sleeping. We also have a black Labrador retriever so must be comfortable with a friendly medium to large dog. We have a fenced in backyard so it’s easy to let him out to relieve himself. Ideal Candidate has - experience with infants - first aid and CPR - **will increase rate if holds an ECE, bachelor degree, or other education/teaching qualifications - has own car Responsibilities - ensuring safety of child - engaging enthusiastically with child - indoor and outdoor play with child - help her learn words with books and activities etc - help her develop with age appropriate learning activities etc (no iPad or tv) - change diapers - bottle and solid feeds - laundry (from starting loads to folding; baby stuff to be put away in her drawers) - general tidying of kitchen and nursery (and wherever else you play with her) - letting dog out in a fenced backyard to relieve himself
