Nanny Job in Winnipeg, Manitoba

We are looking for a new nanny for our 19-month-old boy because our current nanny is sadly unable to continue in a full-time role. We are looking for a full-time, live-out nanny to assist us with child-care so that we can both continue to work in our professional roles. Our comfortable home is in South Winnipeg. We are looking for someone who: - Has a minimum of 5 years experience as a full-time nanny—some of that experience with toddlers - Does not rely on screen time for entertaining/teaching children but engages instead with songs, stories, imaginative play, books, games, active play (parks), nature, & crafts (we won't offer him screen-time for a few more years) - Understands and uses principles of positive reinforcement - Likes dogs and is comfortable with large (and barky) guard dogs (Great Pyrenees breed) - Is willing to help maintain the household in good order, particularly things pertaining to child rearing (preparing his meals & snacks and clean-up afterwards, child’s laundry, keeping the house generally tidy from day’s activities) - Is willing and able to travel with us on some family vacations when that becomes possible again (must have or be eligible for a Canadian passport for this) - Having your own vehicle is an asset Being fully vaccinated is important to us and will be necessary for a new nanny. Pay will be negotiated based on experience.
