Nanny Job in Delta, British Columbia

We are Samantha and Jason and we have an awesome little girl named Eliana, and a big dog named Eva. Ellie is almost three years old; she’s vibrant, funny, and curious. She is up for adventure and enjoys being active, but also loves crafts, cooking and reading. Honestly, a great partner to explore and enjoy all that is around us on the West Coast. We are a family that has shared our home with au pairs and homestay students over the years and enjoy getting to know all sorts of different types of people. If it wasn’t for COVID, we would say traveling is our favourite activity but right now, we are enjoying spending time together, visit beaches, parks, and being tourists in our own town. We live in a house in (north) Delta, BC, just outside of Vancouver. You’re about a 25 minute car ride or 40 minute transit from Vancouver. We have a bus stop one block away from our house. If you’re interested in living in, then we have a room with a private bathroom and nice separate space for you. We prefer live-in in many ways, but happy to work with what suits you best. You’ll also have access to a vehicle to use both during the working hours and after. We’re looking for someone to work approximately 35 hours per week, starting June 2021, generally Monday to Thursday, with most Fridays off. Your main responsibility will be taking care of Ellie - activities, simple meal prep, picking up after her, and her laundry. Unloading and loading the dishwasher, and setting the table is the only other non-childcare related task we would love help with each day.
