Nanny Job in Sooke, British Columbia

We are small-scale organic fruit and veggie farm situated 10 mins West of Sooke on Vancouver Island amongst forests, beaches and rivers. We are looking for an individual(s) to assist us on our farm by providing childcare for our two children ages 2 and 4. We both work from home and are always present on the farm to assist with the children but we need extra help to achieve the balance of healthy parenting and a productive work environment.   The position is full time for the months of April through to the end of July and rates and schedules can be created on an individual basis. In the past two years the person who worked with us brought her daughter to the farm to join our kids, which was very rewarding, and we would definitely consider the same situation with other applicants.    The typical day usually starts at 9am after breakfast where the kids go outside to play, go for a walk muck around the farm and trampoline.  Lunch is usually a sit down lunch with the kids and farmers. The afternoons are comprised of reading, arts, bike riding or head down to the beach.  Our farm is great place to raise kids with lots of outdoor activities, fresh foods and a safe environment.  For the right individual, our farm and neighborhood is a small community that offers an array of rewards that bridge the workplace into a great lifestyle choice.    We look forward to meeting you, Teresa, Matt, Kaidyn & Jasmine
