Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Hi, We are a family of four (five with our cat Cleo.) I’m a musician and my partner is a software engineer. Our daughters are 2.5 years old, and 11 years old. We’re looking for someone experienced, energetic, patient and reliable to babysit our children on weekends, mostly Saturday afternoons (4-6hours), some Sunday afternoons and to very occasionally babysit on an evening night. Our eldest daughter is with us 50% of the time, on alternating weekends. It's important for us that you feel comfortable with our family in our home, and that you feel aligned with how we parent, so we can be comfortable too. We love the Montessori approach, and although it is not required that you be trained in Montessori, it can give you an idea of the way we parent. And it's also important to us that you are comfortable communicating openly with us. We speak English and French at home. If you are fluent in French, all the better. What you can expect to be doing: outdoor activities, creative activities (that sometimes both girls can enjoy), doing nap-time/bedtime, preparing healthy snacks / food prep and occasional cooking, some pet care, etc. We live in Little Italy, Toronto. -- If you are interested in working with us, please get in touch and tell us more about yourself and your thoughts on the following: - What is your approach on feelings, emotions and tantrums?
