Nanny Job in Hamilton, Ontario

Hello!, my name is Caroline, and I'm looking for a live-out nanny for our family. We are currently a family of five with two young boys, and a baby girl. We need a nanny primarily to care for the baby,who is 6 months old, as I will be resuming to work. Our 3 year old and 5 year old sons will be attending school/preschool and so typically not at home during the day. Typical hours would be 800am - 430pm during the week. Duties would include playing with and caring for the baby, meal prep, putting her down for nap, as well as some light housework (ex. dishes, laundry) if time permits. We would also like someone to provide evening babysitting occasionally too this summer/fall (once a week or so). The ideal candidate would have their paperwork to reside in Canada already, have experience with young children, and have a positive, kind and engaging personality, as well as some safety training. We would someone who really engages and plays with the children, rather than just leaving in front of tv. Lots of outdoor and park time if weather permits. ( we are across street from a playground and park). We are also ideally looking to build a long-term relationship someone who will be with our family for quite a while. Good command of English is a must, and a second language is an asset too (especially French). We are happy if 2nd language is spoken for part of the time in the home with our children, so they can be exposed to another language. I should also mention that we have 2 small dogs, who are very friendly and low maintenance. So it would be best if the potential candidate likes dogs, and is willing to take them for a brief walk at lunch hour. Our location: we are located in the Durand neighbourhood of Hamilton, nearby a bus stop ( and St.Joe's hospital).We are looking forward to hearing from you!
