Nanny Job in Chelsea, Quebec

Dear Potential Nanny: We are seeking a loving and experienced live-out nanny to care for our two year old daughters in our home, located in Hendrick Farm in Chelsea, Quebec. Both are happy and easy-going with excellent eating and sleeping routines. We would like a nanny to prioritize creative play and outdoor activities and find ways to include them in daily activities like tidying up. In addition, we a would like them to have opportunities to play with other children at local play groups and through appropriate outings. The nanny position is available as of May 9th. Details regarding the position are below: ▪ Hours: The position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday ▪ Experience & Attributes: Experience caring for toddlers, preferably with prior nanny, daycare, or early childhood education experience; caring, reliable, punctual, and responsible with good judgment; excellent communication skills; energetic and interested in performing a variety of indoor and outdoor developmental activities with our toddlers without reliance on electronic entertainment; positive and encouraging disposition, while able to enforce rules. ▪ Additional Requirements: Criminal reference check; valid driver's license and excellent driving record; must provide own transportation to and from work; possess or willing to obtain first aid certificate; non-smoker. ▪ Duties: Primary child-care and nurturing, child meal and snack preparation during the day; child bathing and dressing, as needed; child transportation to/from local activities (car seats and vehicle will be provided). Secondary duties may include assistance with evening meal preparation; assistance with child’s laundry; and light housekeeping(e.g. dishes, typing and sweeping). ▪ Compensation: Highly competitive; to be discussed based upon experience and qualifications. ▪ Philosophy: We would like to build a positive, healthy, and trust-based relationship with a nanny who will become an integral part of our family’s daily life.
