Nanny Job in Victoria, British Columbia

Hi there, our names are Michelle and Alex. We are interested in finding a full-time nanny in Victoria, primarily looking after our 20 month old toddler Abigail (Abbi), she’s sweet, curious and a really good eater! We live in Oak Bay and also have a large and loving bernedoodle. We're also expecting a baby in November. We’re hoping to find someone gentle, kind, hard working and experienced with babies (and likes dogs as a bonus). I hope we have the chance to chat soon! A bit more about us: * We live in Oak Bay, near the water and beach, and near a bus stop * So far we're not giving Abbi any screen time, we encourage her to play outside, do some basic art, read books etc. * We're trying to raise our children to be independent. We used baby-lead-weaning with Abbi, and it was great. In play and life we try to give her a lot of room to experiment, fall down, climb, etc, while making sure she's safe, but letting her make mistakes and have falls on her own. * Abbi is talking a lot, her vocabulary has exploded recently. She talks about herself in 3rd person, and loves to do things herself. One of her favourite phrases is "Abbi do it", meaning she wants to do all the things instead of you :) * Alex works in tech for his own small business * Michelle works part time for a non-profit
