Nanny Job in Penticton, British Columbia

Hi there, We’re looking for a part time (20 hours a week) to full time (preferably) nanny starting January 2022. You will primarily be looking after our son, a 2.5 year old son, Soren. He will be 3 in April 2022. I, Alicia, am currently pregnant and have a due date of February 3, 2022, so help with the newborn from time to time may also be needed. What your duties look like: - Prepare meals for Soren, so you must be able to cook (make scrambled eggs, grilled cheese etc) - Come prepared with fun activities to keep Soren engaged. We have lots of toys and art supplies, but I won’t be able to direct you on what to do all the time. Currently Soren loves to draw, paint, play with playdoh, colour, make crafts, play with lego, cars, trains etc. - Take Soren to the park, ymca family time drop in, strong start programs. He’s extremely social and loves meeting new children, so you must have your own vehicle. - Put Soren down for naps, and occasionally give him baths (depends if you’re here for bedtime routine) - When Soren is napping (he has a nap for about 2 hours a day), help me with light household chores such as dishes, laundry and sweeping. I may also need help with meal prep (cutting veggies for dinner etc.) - I may get you to watch the newborn for 30 minutes to give me time to have a nap or take a shower when Soren is sleeping or watching TV Someone with toddler experience or that is currently getting their ECE is preferred. Currently looking someone who can for 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm hours. For part time, hours / days can be discussed Pay is dependant on experience
