Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

Hello! We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and caring part-time nanny to become part of our family. We have a one year old and a four year old. Start date: flexible late November to early January. We’re looking for someone with experience with kids this age, with an interest in early childhood development and play based learning and who values a gentle approach, kindness and patience.  We are also looking for someone who will take our kids out to experience the world, who is interested in spending time in nature, and who has a playful and engaging approach with kids. Our kids safety and well-being is of utmost importance to us. Schedule: We are looking for someone three days a week. Hours would be 8am-4pm approximately. The ideal candidate would be able to have some flexibility in which days they work although this would be set 1-2 months in advance. Some additional weekend hours would be available if interested. Some light housework related to child caring (toy clean up, kitchen clean up from kids meals and child meal preparation) would be appreciated. We have a large friendly Lab who you will not be responsible for walking, but comfort around dogs is a must. We live near King Edward Avenue and Main Street. Drivers license an asset. Must be legally able to work in Canada. Current references are a must. Must have current CPR and clear record check. Rate: Salary negotiable and commensurate with experience, $25-30 per hour.
