Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are looking for a warm, reliable, and energetic nanny to care for our two boys, ages 4 years and 21 months, Monday to Friday after school and daycare. We’re located in Mimico. Hours: After school, starting at approximately 3:30 PM Rate: $25/hour Responsibilities • Pick up our 4-year-old from kindergarten at 3:30 PM • Walk to daycare to pick up our 21-month-old • Walk home with both children — approximately 2.5 km total. Our 4-year-old will ride on the toddler board attached to the stroller for part of the walk. • Prepare a simple snack for the boys once home • Keep the boys engaged and happily occupied with play and age-appropriate activities until dinner • Help with dinner clean-up • Light tidying of the living room and children’s areas We’re Looking For Someone who is: • Warm, caring, patient, and energetic • Reliable and comfortable caring for two young children • Comfortable with walking approximately 2.5 km each afternoon • Experienced with toddlers and preschool-aged children • Able to create a fun, safe, and engaging after-school routine Requirements: • Current CPR certification • References • Previous childcare/nanny experience preferred We’re hoping to find someone who can become a trusted and consistent part of our family’s routine and who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children.
