Nanny Job in Delta, British Columbia

Hi, I'm Julia. Solo parent to two daughters (11 & 14) and four fur babies (2 cats, 2 dogs). I've been on my own for over a decade so it's a well-oiled machine around here (without a factory feel though). About us: We are a busy and super close family. We support each other's dreams and work together to make them happen...but at this point that means we need another adult to help make things run smoothly! What we're looking for: Youngest goes to public school and has a busy extra curricular schedule (all local to where we are). Oldest does distance learning at home as well as is often on set full-time as an actress. I need someone who is comfortable and flexible in either capacity: being the one on-set (you act as guardian to her while there) or being the one at home doing what I do there (house care, pets, extra currics, school runs, errands, meal prep, etc). Long days on some days (approx. 12 hrs), so must be ok with that! Whether at home or on set there is also time to consider yourself a hobby or a course or side business...I am ok to support this if you are attending to the work (i.e. my kids!) you are hired for. If oldest is working away from Lower Mainland travel with will be required. Must be accepting of all races, religious practices and sexual identities. Homophobic, racist or intolerant? We're not a match. Compassion towards anxiety and prioritizing mental wellness a must in this house! Ideal candidate: Loves the arts, is highly organized with a keen attention to detail, clean driving record, can be flexible, willing & able to travel if needed, good at respectful communication even when it's uncomfortable, is tidy, can take charge so I don't have to micro-manage (once you know the ropes of our life of course), loves pets, doesn't mind helping with cleaning, errands and meals - great! Bonus points if you can help with math homework cause I can't haha. Have most of these qualities but not sure, let's talk :) Maybe you have a car, maybe you don't...I only have 1, but we'll figure it out! Salary absolutely negotiable (dependent on if hourly/monthly wage and live-in or live-out). Live-in or live-out options. Flexible start date. Basically if you're the right fit for us then we will do our utmost to make you happy too! Where we are: we're located in Ladner (Delta) on farmland.
