Nanny Job in Belnan, Nova Scotia

Seeking a nurturing and responsible nanny to care for our (almost) 2 year old and provide occasional care for our 2 school-aged children in our Belnan, Nova Scotia, home. This position is part-time, 3 days/week, (Mon-Wed-Fri or Tue-Wed-Fri). The hours are 8AM - 4:30PM with one of the days (either Monday or Tuesday being until 5PM). Pay is $20/hour (and we are negotiable up to $25/hour for an individual with ECE training). The ideal candidate should have experience caring for young children, be organized, and able to multitask. We value someone who is passionate about child development and safety. Responsibilities will include: - engaging our 2 year old in age-appropriate activities, - spending time outdoors, - feeding and diaper changes, - occasional care for our school-aged children (4 & 8) on days when there is no school (snow days & PD days), and - light housekeeping duties such as tidying up after the children. The successful candidate will be required to provide clear criminal record & vulnerable sector checks. References will also be requested.
